Power parachute!

So last week, Brandon tells me that he needs to go to Kingman Az. To pick up the one thing he has talked about buying since before I ever met him. A power parachute airplane thing!!! (I'm sure he will correct me). He found it on craigslist and said we needed to go. I told him I would go with him if we made a weekend out of the trip, and if my friend would let us stay at her house!!! So I wouldn't have to sit for 8 hours to make the long trip in one day, plus it would be really hard for Jae too, But I was thinking of myself!! So I arranged for us to stay the night (thanks Nat), and we took off to get this plane! We figured that it would need a little work before it would fly, because it had sat in the guys garage for 2 years! We picked it up the night we got into town and the next morning Brandon and his brother went to work on it. While I got to spend time chatting and Jaelie got to spend time playing, She was a little mean to Liv, but as time went on I think she got nicer (hopefully some good practice for when the baby get here.. 6 weeks, and YES I am counting) :) . Anyways, the boys got the thing to start so they drove it up and down the street (its kinda like a go-cart if the chute isn't on it). So of course Jaelie wanted a turn!! So I got a picture of her!! She is so dang cute!!
We came home that night and the next morning Brandon and Justin (his brother) decided they were confident that it was in good enough shape to fly!! So they "TRIED"!! Brandon had left at like 7 am, to go get a few things ready to take off, and I called him about 9 and he said they were just getting ready to take off, I said, K we are on our way.. I wanted to see it, but Jae had still been sleeping, so we hurried and left to go watch! By the time I got there I saw him in the air!!! But by the time I stopped and got the camera out, He was already on his way down..... NOT by his choice, one of the cables that holds the chute to the plane had snapped, which in turn made the chute start to collapse and him to drop rather quickly!!! I kinda freaked until I saw that he was okay!! Needless to say, they get to spend a lot more time and money into re-building the thing, cause he sure did a number to it when he hit ground. Thank goodness he walked away with a few minor cuts and a lot of sore muscles!!
